NUSANTARA, 05 Juni 2024 – Following the success of Arena Square in Jakarta, Arena Group now presents Arena Botanika in the new capital city of Indonesia (Ibu Kota Nusantara), East Kalimantan. Carrying the concept of a Premiere Social Compound on an area of 8,400 square meters, Arena Botanika offers a dining experience in a lush, green setting—a place where guests can enjoy food and beverages while socializing.

The Groundbreaking Ceremony for Arena Botanika, held on June 5, 2024, was attended by President Ir. H. Joko Widodo, along with several ministers from the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet, including:

At the beginning of 2025, Arena Botanika Ibu Kota Nusantara will open with five well-known restaurant brands in the culinary world:

• Seribu Rasa

• Penang Bistro

• Greyhound Café

• Maison Tatsuya

• Gyu-Shige Tokyo Yakiniku

The integration of these five restaurant brands within one compound will offer diverse culinary choices for visitors.

In his remarks, President Jokowi highlighted the lack of accommodation and dining facilities in the IKN area. He expressed appreciation for the upcoming Arena Botanika development, which aims to help meet this need.

“As of now, if I bring a group of 200 or 300 people to eat, there's no suitable venue available. So, I truly appreciate this investment—the Arena Botanika by Arena Group. With the development of Arena Botanika, the facilities in IKN will be more complete, allowing people who live and work here to enjoy delicious food and a comfortable atmosphere without having to travel elsewhere,” said President Jokowi.

Mr. Wiyanto Alamsyah, President Director of Arena Group, explained:

Arena Botanika Ibu Kota Nusantara will feature indoor and outdoor areas that reflect Kalimantan’s natural charm. Its facilities will include private rooms, event spaces, live music, catering services, and meal boxes.
